8. Payment: payment is to be affected in US dollars by an irrevocable L/C opened with Bank for Foreign trade of Vietnam to the account of Tokyo Commercial Bank ,15 days prior to the first shipment, in seller’ favour for  the total value of the goods to be shipped, which mentions partial shipment is allowed.

   Documents  required for payment:

a.       Commercial Invoices : 3 sets

b.      Original Bill of lading : 1 set

c.       Packing list : 3sets

d.      Certificate of quality : 1 set

e.       e. Insurance policy : 1 set

9. Technical documents: 2 sets of Technical Drawing,2 sets of instruction form of  assembling, operation or maintenance in English are to be shipped by sea way along with the goods. Another will be sent by airmail to Buyer no later than August 30th 20..

10. Guarantee :12 months after despatch and 6 months after commencement of operation.The guarantee does not apply to damage caused by use.

1.      We are pleased to inform that we have completed your order No. 9901/1/5 for 50 boxes of knives and forks “Silverline”, which are now collected for freighting to Rotterham.

2.      The order No. 6712/1 is now being processed and will be ready for despatch next week.

3.      We are pleased to supply 60 tons in which 30 tons for the first shipment and 30 tons for the second one. We will give you further information after we receive the advice note for the first 30 tons.

4.      I am surprised and sorry to hear that your goods (order No. B145) have not arrived in your place. According to our research, we know that it was delayed because of the partial conflict on the freighter Hamburg on which goods were loaded. We are now trying to move goods into freighter Samoa which sails for Yokohama before the end of next week. However, we will continue to inform you.

5.       I am writing to inform you that there is a three-week delay for the despatch of the goods. Because of the fire at the Greenford factory, most machines there were borken. However, your order was transfered to our Slough factory and will be processed there. I would like to apologize for the delay which is out of our control.

6.      We regret to inform you that there is delay in delivery. This problem is because of the interuption in supplying goods in Gara where the civil war suddenly broke out last week. We’ve communicated with the supplier in Lagos and he will let us know whether he can help us. If you wish to cancel the order it would be quite understandable, but we think you will find that most suppliers are now in the same difficult situation.

7.      We are sorry to inform you that this kind of commodity is out of stock at the moment, and it’ll take us at least 6 weeks to make delivery for the next shipment, please get in touch with us then.

8.      Thank you for your order for our heavy duty worker’s trousers. Unfortunately, we ran out of heavy duty worker’s trousers made from the thick fabric that you requested. And because of your special request, we couldn’t replace this kind for another, but we’ll inform you right when we receive the next shipment in 2-week time.

9.      Today we’ve received your order for our electric generator, ACN model, unfortunately we couldn’t fulfill this order due to the strike in ACN factory, and we also acknowledge that other models do not meet your requirements. We hope the strike will soon be under control so that we can supply you with the machines. You can be reassured that we will update you with newest changes of the situation.

10.  We’ve never offered quaterly payment terms with new customers, even customers who supply us with financial references. However, we can reconsisder these terms of paymen later once we’ve built a trade relationship.
