Letter Writing

Dear Mr John Doe,

Thank you very much for your quotation dated 5 April 2011 as well as the enclosed catalogue and product sample.

We are very impressed by the features of your KS20A vacuum cleaners. We also find the quoted price reasonable and therefore have decided to accept it. However, since this is not only our first order but also quite a big one (of over 2000 units), we hope you could offer us a discount of 6%.

Besides, we would also like to request payment by irrevocable L/C, 8 months from acceptance, as this type of products is new in Vietnam and selling may take quite some time. If the products prove to be a ready sale in our domestic market, we’ll be willing to sign a contract to act as your distribution agent in the country. This surely will bring both our companies great benefits since we have a wide network of stores in most major cities in Vietnam.
